Consulting Associate Director, Corporate Performance Management (CPM)


Here at MS IT Solutions, we help organisations to work smarter and grow faster.  This role requires an experienced professional with a history of delivering end to end CPM solutions across both consolidation and budgeting and forecasting / planning projects. Within this role you will be working with the latest CPM technology both on premise and cloud solutions, guiding clients through the design, build, testing, training and post go live stages of implementations. You will truly become the bridge between finance and IT, to deliver the most innovative CPM solutions on the market.

The Consulting Associate Director is responsible for business development, driving revenue, project execution, client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. You should have a solid understanding of their clients’ business and demonstrate technical competence in finance related solutions (SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP FICO etc.). You will use this competence to ensure quality and satisfaction on engagement.

You are also a “hands-on, roll up your sleeves” leader who can both successfully manage and inspire a diverse team of project managers and consultants, as well as maintain strong client relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery as measured by schedule, budget, deliverable quality and client satisfaction. You will be actively involved in the sales and estimating phases of each project as well as in planning, mobilization, execution and closure.

Your job scope will be varied as you will be exposed to new clients, business challenges, technologies and needs. Working with multiple teams, you will be delivering a broad range of services from Corporate Performance Solutions (CPM),  ERP to Analytics to agile cloud solutions.


  • Build and sustain a sales pipeline by developing, nurturing, and maintaining existing clients, key technology partner’s sales force, along with fostering new business relationships
  • Coordinate and lead business development and pre sales activities including conducting demos, scoping assessments, build proposals, win work and deliver projects
  • Oversee quality of delivery in scope and execution to ensure on-time, on-budget and quality outcomes
  • Construct and ensure statements of work meet client objectives and provide clear and achievable objectives and milestones.
  • Provide quality assurance function for requirements analysis, solution architecture and design, development and integration tasks, testing processes and documentation, along with overarching delivery execution.
  • Management of staff including participating in recruitment, conducting annual personnel reviews, staff career development and nurture extraordinary consultants
  • Good understanding of Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Legal Consolidations functionalities
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field
  • 11+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
  • At least 10 years of SAP experience implementing SAP BPC or similar product
  • Proven leadership experience, including demonstrating the ability to achieve results through leading others
  • Professional Certification such as CPA, CISA, CISSP required, ERP Certifications a plus
  • “Big 4” experience or Large System Integrator, strongly preferred
  • Experience managing client expectations and having difficult conversations
  • Ability to create presentations, proposals and SOWs
